Unknot Therapy, LLC (“Unknot”, “we”, “us”) provides outpatient psychotherapy in Portland, Oregon and via telehealth in Oregon and Washington. This policy covers our website, unknottherapy.com, and the forms on it.

We only collect what we need to respond to you and run the site:
Contact details you send us — name, email, phone number and preferred session format
Booking details when you schedule a free consultation
Basic technical data such as browser type, pages visited and approximate location (via cookies, with your consent)

04 Health information & HIPAA
Please don’t share sensitive health details through website forms. Once you become a client, your health information is protected under HIPAA and described in our separate Notice of Privacy Practices, provided at intake.
We never sell your personal information.
We don’t sell or rent personal information, and we don’t use it for targeted advertising.

We share information only with trusted service providers who help us operate — such as our secure scheduling, email and hosting platforms — under agreements that require them to protect it, or when required by law.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete personal information we hold about you, and to withdraw consent. Washington residents have additional rights under the My Health My Data Act. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
